Technological evolution in the agricultural machinery sector has an added development as Bergmann has announced the launch of its latest delivery to the market. This as the manufacturer has developed its’ ISOBUS-compatible ExaRate control unit, which monitors the weight reduction in a trailer during spreading. It additionally adjusts the actual distribution quantity and ensures that the correct amount is applied.
According to Bergmann, the control unit also allows variable-rate control and section-specific spreading using prescription maps. The manufacturer now produces a range of muck spreaders, forage wagons and forage trailers. Used in conjunction with the Bergmann’s V-Spread wide spreader unit, the unit has a working width of up to 36m. This is available on the twin axle and tri-axle spreaders and will also be available on the low-bed universal spreader later this year.
The company says that the combination of the V-shaped spreader disk arrangement and an increased spreader disk diameter makes for a more even material distribution over the disks, allowing for consistent application in the field.
An added benefit of the latest offering is that it reduces soil compaction. The company also believes that the V-Spread unit offers greater working width while retaining the spread pattern.
