Northern Ireland is testing the potential of willow leaves to reduce methane emissions from livestock. Politicians and animal welfare organisations have blasted the Irish Government over a new trade deal that will see live pigs flown to China for breeding. Labour shortages in UK abattoirs have led to a Yorkshire farmer killing hundreds of piglets.
