The Irish Angus Munster Branch held its 2021 Premier Sale at Kilmallock over the weekend. 27 bulls were presented for sale with a number of bulls sold prior sale. There was very strong bid activity for quality lots with 4 bulls making €3,000 or higher and the sale average of €2,500 with a 65% clearance.
The sale got off to a flying start with John Appelbe Clonakilty was first into the ring and also achieved highest price on the day of €3,100, with Lot 3 Carrigroe Sea Salt, this Aug 19 5 star son of Rathosheen Hugo was sold to Cashelane Pedigree herd in Cork.
