A huge clean-up operation has taken place after hundreds of dead calves were discovered on a Co Galway farm in a major animal welfare incident.  Around 270 carcasses have been removed from lands in north-east Galway.  The Department of Agriculture, Galway County Council and the Galway District Veterinary Office confirmed an investigation has been launched into the animal deaths.
